by Opetek on Aug.21, 2009, under Operating Systems, Windows
Synaptics TouchPad is one such pointing device that supports multi-touch. Most of the Synaptics TouchPad hardware devices do support multi-touch, which is implemented at software driver level as Synaptics Gestures. In fact, Synaptics had a commercial video titled “Things You Can Do With a Gesture” to promote new notebooks with Synaptics Gestures.
Hack to Enable Two Fingers Scroll Gesture to Replace Virtualing on Synaptics TouchPad
by Opetek on Aug.21, 2009, under Operating Systems, Windows
Most Synaptics TouchPad can support multi-touch gesture capabilities, which normally depends on software driver support. However, default official driver for Synaptics TouchPad device on most notebook and laptop does not enable these Synaptics Gestures features, instead locking them, probably due to marketing purpose.
There is a modded driver for Synaptics TouchPad that enables multi-touch gesture functions. After installing the mod driver, Synaptics TouchPad settings should now show options to enable Momentum, ChiralMotion, Two Fingers Gesture and Three Fingers Gesture. However, on some version of Synaptics TouchPad hardware, Two Fingers Gesture and Three Fingers Gesture may not be available even with the modded driver installed.
Two Fingers Gesture allows user to enable two finger scrolling feature which is included on newer version of Apple MacBook, allowing user to use two finger motion gesture on the whole surface of touchpad to scroll horizontally and vertically instead of have to move to virtual scrollbars on the edge of the trackpad.

Its pretty easy to change channels. Here is steps, straight from Google Chrome help pages.
- Download and run the Google Chrome Channel Changer (http://chromium.googlecode.com/files/chromechannel-2.0.exe).
- Click the circle next to the channel you want to get updates from.
- Click Update to save your choice.
- Click Close.
- In Google Chrome, click the wrench menu and choose About Google Chrome.
- Click Update Now to install the current channel’s release.
- Restart Google Chrome.
Remember to backup your data before doing this.
- Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
- Windows Vista: \Users\username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
Note: If you encounter the error “update server is not avalaible (error 3)”, try to uninstall and reinstall it; if it’s not fixed, try to download Google Chrome from official website. (In my case, I downloaded installation package from filehippo.com)

Freezer is really simple to use. Here are a few steps to use it :
1. Unzip file (if you haven’t downloaded it yet, click here) and run freezer.
2. Start your browser, and set the proxy settings to localhost on port 8800 for the new version 1.3. To know how to do this click here : http://support.mozilla.com/en/kb/Options_window . To toggle the proxy on off faster, you can download FoxyProxy.
3. Surf on deezer or jiwa, when you’re listening to a music, a dialog box will show up to save the song which is to be played. You can download as many songs as you want at the same time. (You’re not forced to listen the entire song to download)
